Peter Bale - curated media, journalism, news - Ozy immolated, and more
I never understood Ozy which had huge glitz, a smiley founder, and no evident readers. Now we know. Very self-referential, of course, but they are right to focus on trust and to work out how to rebuild it. Some fresher faces might have been smart. Having been heavily involved in The Trust Project this is space I believe in.
So many weird things happening in Chinese media and technology-related life. This is just the latest and of course we have to look at what Chinese media said over the weekend about the release of the Huawei heiress.
GB News is just a disaster. I came close to a breakdown. It would've killed me to carry on.
The reporter acknowledging she hugged Andrew Neil during this interview is nauseating to me but it is good to see him admit his struggles at GBNews. What surprises me is that the CEO of GB News, whom I know, has managed to airbrush out a previous disaster in the Middle East. I attach, also, below the fabulous Marina Hyde on the GB News drama.
Doxxing journalists has gotten out of control.
A small bonus, or not, of the weekly thing I do for a New Zealand site.
